Purchasing a new or pre-owned car via the Internet should not be a challenging experience. We at Progressive Motors believe that buying a car should be fun, simple and pleasurable experience. Following is some information about us to help put your mind at ease.

Company
Progressive Motors is a family owned and operated business, which has been at the present location since 1985. Our customers are our greatest assets. They include many local and out-of-state residents. There is a good chance that we have sold a car to someone in your area.

Initial Request
We will send you digital photos of the interior and exterior of the vehicle. When available, we will also send maintenance records. Based upon your further interest, we will then assist you with finance/leasing terms available for the car. At this point, you will have a solid knowledge of both the vehicle and the financing plan that best fits your individual needs.

Inspection
Upon your request, we will be happy to send the vehicle to a local mechanical shop for an inspection. The cost associated with this pre-purchase inspection can range from $50 to $250, depending on the extent of the inspection. The level of service can be anywhere from a visual examination and test drive up to a detailed mechanical inspection including engine compression check, brake pad wear percentage, etc. The level of inspection will generally depend on the year of the car; i.e.. a 2008 model year will be under factory warranty, so the inspection may be limited to a visual and a test drive.

Personal Inspection
You may choose to inspect the car personally. If you are traveling by air, let us know your flight information and we will be happy to pick you up at the airport. The closest airports are:

· Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International - all major airlines
· Pompano Air Field - your private plane

Once you have inspected and driven your car, you can either drive it home or we will arrange transportation.

Shipping
We use only reputable, insured transportation companies to ship our vehicles. Below is a sample of current shipping charges:

· Atlanta, GA            $450
· Chicago, IL             $750
· Los Angeles, CA   $1050
· Dallas, TX              $750

Sales Tax
If delivery of your vehicle is taken at our Dealership, Florida law requires that we collect sales tax. The amount we collect is 6% or the sales tax rate in your state, whichever is less. A credit is allowed in your home state for the amount paid in Florida, except in AL, AK, D.C., MD, MT, NH, OK, OR, SD and WV. We will provide you with a notarized affidavit showing the amount of sales tax paid which you submit to your state.
